For those who had just taken antique into interest, it is advisable not to purchase antiques that are pricey without serious thought. It is important to attain the basic knowledge of collecting, by concentrating on a single genre, understanding information from various publishers, and those photos that are published in better qualities.
Also, get the opportunity to visit the museum and have a look of the genuine product, to have a better impression of it. Do not let greed overpower yourself. One should not consider more on the beneficially fact, but to concentrate more on the appreciation of skillful artwork produced by the maker, then only he can overcome critical times with experience without loosing his senses and investing without thought which could cause him to fall into others trap.

The antique market is generally divided into 3 types, 1. Market Trading 2. Permanent Shop Lots 3. Auction, also, the market on the internet has been expanding its trading features. From the past experience, the percentage of getting a genuine item trough auctioning is higher than other ways of trading. It is also advisable to trade with auction companies that have good reputations.
On the other hand, the risk of trading in the market is higher, for beginners, they are advised to trade with caution.
Also, the concept of fake and real items does not exist in art work. For works from the old era are called "antiques". As for art works from the new era, are being called "modern handicrafts". Of course, there are also people who imitate antiques maliciously for their own advantages, where strict precautions have to be taken against it.
The characteristics of porcelain from the Tang dynasty.
"Sui", Tang dynasty, Fifth Generation (581-960) was an important period in the China history feudalization. The porcelain business of that period uses " South Green North White" as their significant characteristic. This period is also the second peak of the porcelain figure's development. 'Tang San Cai" figure is the most famous amongst porcelain figures. This lead glazing technique consists of not only 3 colors.

There were many kilns that produce porcelain in the Tang dynasty. The famous ones were the "Yue" kiln, "Xing" kiln, "Ding" kiln, and the exotic "Mi Se" Porcelain, which are the important clear proof of the development of porcelain in the Tang Dynasty.

Song Dynasty was an important period for the ancient porcelain fashion, with porcelain kilns all over the country. Due to the division of Song Dynasty into North Song and South Song, part of the porcelain was also classified into North or South Song's production. For example, the South Song's "Long Quan" kiln's production has its own artistic value and economic value which was more valuable compare to the North Song's production.

From the distribution of kilns and production of porcelains, "Ru" kiln, "Guan" kiln, "Ge" kiln, "Jun" kiln, "Ding" kiln plays an important role in it. The kilns that were discovered were at "Jin He Nan", an area at "He Bei" province. Besides that, there are also folk kilns that are all over the country, for example "Lin Ru" kiln, "Jian" kiln, "Ji Zhou" kiln, "Long Quan" kiln and others. The Song generation's porcelain was significant for their simple and beautiful design and also their colors. The simple and elegant color of the monochromatic color glazing gives an outstanding impression of it. It had also gain vigorous support from enthusiastic collector all over the world.
